Basic MaxPress
I started most of my last freelance projects using Sandbox. Felt good with it, but I always had to do a set of changes each time I started something. Since I was using HTML5 Boilerplate as a base, I called this “boilerplating”.
Obviously, I began working on my own starter WordPress theme: Basic MaxPress (dibs on the name)!
It’s still under dev but I’m so excited with the project I wanna cram everything in it. I’m hoping you’ll help me with some pointers: what would you like to find in a starter theme ?
Just to be clear: a starter theme is not a framework, it’s just the base that would help your design come to life faster, easier, smoother.
Project is under (live) development here, promise to share the files as soon as I’m content with v1.0.
