Well, sorta: I really don’t read a lot … of books. At least not any more.
But I would if I had the proper time to digest. I do read plenty of pro related articles and Google Reader would compete with breakfast at times, in the past.
When I was a kid my parents used to “steal” the light bulbs from the ceiling and bed lights. Because I was an avid reader on top of being an owl.But I had had a flashlight! And they would leave the bathroom light on all night long.
So, every once in a while, mostly towards the end of a novel, I would grab a blanket and a pillow and install myself comfortably. In the bathtub.
Back then it was Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, Jules Verne, espionage, commandos and submarines and adventures and what not. Not quite what they would recommend at school, you see.
Nowadays I choose my lectures with care and patience to get the best ROI for my time and attention. Maybe you fall in that category as well and will appreciate a curated list to jump-start or upgrade your UX skills.
